Morning Light

Jeremy Hurtt

The sun creeps through the blinds painting golden lines across the floor, a quiet invitation to begin again. Coffee steam rises like prayers, curling into the cool morning air, each sip a small communion with the day ahead. Outside, the world stirs — birds composing their daily hymns, leaves catching light like stained glass in a cathedral of oaks.
